When should I call the out-of-hours GP practice and when should I go to the hospital’s Emergency Department?

The out-of-hours GP practice is available to patients with urgent health problems, for which you would otherwise call your GP.

The hospital’s Emergency Department is intended for serious situations which require a medical specialist. If in doubt, please call the out-of-hours GP practice first.
